Our Story
Our store is owned and operated by Tim Rogers and Shawn Nakich. After working in the industry for several years and learning from the best, it was time to open Shenango Valley Meat and Poultry, or as you may know it, Shenango Valley Meats.
Shenango Valley Meats first opened March 15, 2005 where they started on Broadway Road in Hermitage. In the early years, the store offered products that you'll find in most meat markets such as, beef, chicken, pork, lunch meats, cheeses, etc. but has recently grown quite a bit and added a larger variety of products and added many more specialty items to their list of products.
On July, 1 2009, Shenango Valley Meats made the move to the busy corner of East State Street and Forker Boulevard in Sharon. The family oriented market loves the action and excitement the location brings to the business. From September to the first couple weeks in June we know that around 3pm the store gets a rush with teachers, parents, and grandparents picking up dinner while they're out picking up their kids from school...and in the summer we enjoy the entertainment of the soap box derby that runs down State St. that benefits a good cause. There's always something going on in the area and Shenango Valley Meats loves being a part of it all.
